We nurture every stage. If you are just starting, we will help with pricing, photos, stall setup, and shared tool libraries. If you are growing, we will offer mentoring circles, packaging and postage clinics, and workshops on brand and story. If you are ready to scale, we will support trade readiness, wholesale terms, export basics, press and PR, and buyer introductions. Wherever you are, there is a next step, and we will take it with you.
We respect time and labour. Pay should be fair and on time, terms transparent, and commissions steady and predictable. No hidden fees. No moving goalposts. We champion inclusion, making space on panels, in features, and in decisions for voices too often missing. We budget for translation, captions, accessible venues, and sliding scale options because talent is widespread but access is not.
We choose lower impact options and share what works: lighter packaging, repair and reuse, shared kilns and looms, batch firing schedules, and natural dye sessions. Small choices, repeated often, add up.
We reinvest locally and visibly. A ring fenced share of any surplus goes straight back to makers and places: micro grants, bursaries, shared equipment, workshop scholarships, subsidised market stalls, and emergency support when life happens. Each year we will publish a simple “where the money went” note with clear numbers, named projects, and real outcomes.
We back livelihoods and high streets through neighbourhood markets for first time sellers, pop ups in underused spaces, and partnerships with councils and mission led retailers. We teach openly and learn in public: checklists, how tos, cost calculators, and honest case studies about what worked, what did not, and why, so you do not lose evenings reinventing the wheel.
We measure what matters: more income in makers’ pockets, less waste in bins, broader representation across our pages and stages. When the numbers nudge us, we adjust. We improve in the open through regular community reviews, a standing maker advisory group, and a public list of fixes and ideas. We will test, learn, and retire what no longer serves.
We invite you to join our handmade community of growing businesses committed to inspiring the world through creative entrepreneurship buying and selling.
